MAXiTUF Plastic Lumber is a high quality 100% recycled product, designed to ensure continued usability with little to no stress on the environment. A true Green product! MAXiTUF is also the only plastic lumber product manufactured in Oregon, right in the heart of timber country!

MAXiTUF Plastic Lumber has been manufactured and designed by Resco Plastics, Inc. for over 15 years and is currently the number one plastic lumber producer on the west coast of the United States!

Our Plastic Lumber is made of 100% recycled HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and is also 100% recyclable should the project's lifetime be shorter than plastic lumber's lifetime. Which means, less plastic in landfills!

Plastic lumber is great for applications such as fishing vessel decks, commercial walkways, wilderness walkways, boat docks and marine applications. Plastic lumber is particularly well suited in any situation where water touches wood, since plastic lumber absorbs zero moisture unlike wood/plastic composites.

The advantages of plastic lumber are great. The slightly higher initial cost of the materials are that compensated by their durability and freedom from continual maintenance. In many settings where exposure to weather and other adverse conditions prevail, plastic lumber is really the only rational choice - just the reduction in demand for replacement every few years makes plastic lumber cost effective. This is an especially heavy point for the fishing and crabbing industry. And, when you consider the added advantage of not having to worry about potential injury to those working and moving around the hazards of rotted wood giving way or splinters penetrating a child's skin (we don't even like to mention the likelihood of lawsuits arising from such incidents). Polymers & Plastics

Polymers, from which plastics are composed, are long chains of chemical bonds that impart their strength, cohesiveness, flexibility, resilience, and longevity to plastic lumber. The bonds that these polymers make up are long-lasting in comparison to the chemical chains that make up most other materials. Although, the bonds are strong and flexible for many configurations.

The plastics from which MAXiTUF Plastic Lumber is produced are made up of these polymers – polymers that were at one time in an alternate form, such as milk jugs or shampoo bottles, and have now been recycled into this new and very durable product. The particular mixture of these pllastics can be varied depending on the needs and specifications of the customer.
